Interactive online training for resellers

This week we're launching our first online reseller training sessions. Previously we've offered workshop-style training at our Auckland offices which have limited accessibility but this new interactive online [web and voice] format [15 participants per session] should fix that.  Initial interest has been great and we've had to schedule a second one-hour session this week.

To enquire/register your interest please contact Steve Smith by phone or email.

Cososys chooses Chillisoft to distribute USB security software

European software solves personal backup problems; beefs up corporate endpoint security

Australasian security distributor Chillisoft has been awarded trans-Tasman distributor rights for CoSoSys, a European developer of endpoint and data leakage security software.

Chillisoft's Auckland-based managing director Geoff Cossey says initial channel promotion will focus on CoSoSys personal backup system Carry it Easy, which turns a USB drive into a secure, systems data backup and compression device.

"The beauty of this product is that it solves the dark art of backing up email, favourites and documents, particularly for SOHO computer users, who struggle to pinpoint the identity and location of important files to backup. Carry it Easy does it automatically, without requiring the user to navigate file structures and select the right files for backing up.

It's a really nice solution to a big problem. We think it'll be a big hit down here, particularly for resellers working with home users, SOHO and SMEs,"

Chillisoft will also promote Cososys' endpoint security system Secure it Easy - software that manages computer and network access to external storage devices, such as USB drives.

CoSoSys is a strong niche addition to Chillisoft's security portfolio and will be promoted through 800 channel partners in New Zealand and Australia.
